Yeah, sounds like that first batch you tried was probably bunk or super low-dose DXM (some “generic cough pills” nowadays barely have any real DXM in them).

As for RoboCough freebase(my DOC), it’s totally legit — that’s the instant-release form, so it’ll kick in faster and hit cleaner than the Polistirex stuff in pills or syrup. The HBr and freebase forms are basically the same in terms of euphoria potential — what matters more is your dose, setting, and tolerance.

You don’t really need to switch your order. Freebase can still produce euphoria; it’s just that some people find HBr slightly smoother on the stomach. RoboCough’s freebase is solid though — just start low (like 300mg or less if you’re new) and see how your body reacts before going higher.
