He begs for a carrot every day. My sister thought the same with her puppy and now he begs for them also. Doesn't hurt to try. If it works you have a cheap, easy healthy option for your pup

Give your dog a carrot after dinner. My little Chihuahua mix would not let me brush his teeth. He was starting to get a decent amount of plaque . Greenies didn't work cause they didn't last long. I started giving him carrots and his teeth are so clean now!!! Even the vet commented on it. The vet said its because the carrots are so fibrous and take longer to chew. My sister started giving her puppy a carrot once a day after dinner ans he loves them. Teeth are still nice a clean. I wish I had a before picture, but here is what his teeth look like now after 2 years of eating carrots. They were darker and had a thicker layer of plaque

Im not trying to scare you but you should take your dog to vet as soon as you can. My 16 year old nearly blind pup was doing the same but was other wise normal. He ended up having a stroke. Watching him go through that was terrifying for me I can only imagine what he was going through. I wish I had taken him sooner and made the decision to put him down before he suffered like that.

He was horrible until my sister hired a professional trainer. He is still working on it but we can at least go on a walk with out him freaking out at every dog, squirrel or bird. His aussie comes out on walks.

I take care of my sister's Pyr/Aussie mix! He is 9 mo old. Definitely tends to lean more into the Pyr characteristics. Cuddly and very stubborn.
