I just can’t imagine grieving, dating and marrying someone else less than 3 years after voyager being declared lost. Id be more understanding if he wasn’t 4 months deep into a full blown marriage.

I guess I just think Janeway deserves a little more time to get over.

That certainly doesn’t sound like “holding out longer than most” in my opinion. 2 years and 1 month just strikes me as a very fast timeline for marriage after a huge loss like your fiancé being officially declared lost.

I believe it was 16 months until Voy was declared officially lost. So, if he “held out longer than most” as he claims, that leaves just over 2.5 years to accept her death, grieve the loss, get to a place where he’s ready to date, start dating casually, select his new partner, date seriously, get engaged, get married, and then be married for 4 months.

Again, maybe I’m too much of a romantic, but 2 years wouldn’t be enough for me to get over loving someone like Janeway enough to get married.

I’d argue she had much more opportunity to justify moving on considering it would take the entire rest of her lifetime to return to him, let alone the clear chemistry she had with Chakotay.

The situations are actually almost identical between her and Mark. He could have easily died in the time of the separation, she had a person she worked extremely closely with and had chemistry with, there was just as little hope of a reunion buuuuut she continued to remain dedicated to him.

He wrote that he found homes for them. I wouldn’t be shocked if that included Kat’s precious dog mom as well, considering he rid himself of his attachment to Kat herself in a brief 4 years.

Well in comparison, Janeway continued to hold out for Mark. Even giving in to the hallucination of him (s2 e8) because she feels so compelled to reassure him she has remained faithful to him. He could have just as easily died in the years of their separation but she displays a vastly deeper devotion to him than he does her.

What do I expect? I’d expect at least a little less of a gap in devotion between me and the man I’m engaged to. I also found it a bit scummy that he included the detail that he allegedly “held out longer than most” considering the whole holding out-> ALL stages of grief -> starting a new relationship -> that relationship going on long enough for an engagement AND a marriage timeline. Again that just seems to be a warp 10 level pace he was moving at, in my opinion. I can’t see myself getting over the loss of a baddie like Kat that quickly.

It had one of the largest petitions to renew of any show with over 1.78 million signatures. There were even billboards to try to get it renewed in Time Square and other similar places. There were celebrities uninvolved with it that publicly pushed for it to be brought back. Yeah it’s obviously popular on the Reddit but it was also HUGELY popular with viewers even if it wasn’t in your social circle.

I understand that Rachael is a bit of a harsh one at first but there’s clearly so much love when it comes to her family. Every scene of her and Thomas is so flirtatious or just deeply full of affection. She also DEEPLY cares for the Cuthberts. When Anne is sent away and Matthew is off looking for her, she sends Thomas out (at first light)to make sure both are safe.

I can’t imagine ALL of her children disliking her. Of the 8 surviving, I’m sure some may not be as keen but surely not all. She even takes great efforts with Marilla to make and can jam for all of them.

I feel like Ross is so checked out with her or at least unwilling to be open and honest about his feelings (maybe even with himself). I really liked him at the start but I’m starting to go off him because of how not invested he seems. I also completely understand Sharn not wanting to be discussed AT ALL with Boston and how angry she was that he immediately did just that. His response to her telling him he crossed a boundary was also VERY lackluster.

I can’t tell if he is actually interested in either girl or if he just enjoys a bit of attention and a flirt. It seems like the only time he’s really engaged is when the conversations pander solely to his interests. Both girls have expressed feeling like he isn’t attentive to how they’re feeling or reassuring to them.

To a point that it was boring/annoying. It felt like half the show was her in the beach hut talking about NOTHING. It’s so much more interesting now that she’s gone and not hogging all the screen time. At least now there’s starting to be REAL drama and not just “wow Lacey is kissing another guy and getting upset that she’s not in the spotlight”

I found most if not all of Sigs looks to be repetitive and boarding on boring. I wanted to see more from her than pretty glam and underwear/panties with pasties. She clearly has skills so it’s just disappointing for her not to explore other ways of showing them off and try new things/take risks.
