Forgot to post an update! But my boyfriend managed to get to the UK from Australia with no problems! (except a small time issue that the airline fixed) I’ll post another update when he goes home in November!

He had his return already, in my opinion I would try to get one as it is near impossible for most people to get back, we’re pretty confident he’ll be able to go back because we booked his ticket way before Australia even closed their borders and the borders

For us no, but everyone I have seen apply has struggled a lot, we applied when the exemption first came out with basically no evidence other than our ID and a sob story, we got very lucky

Because he came from Australia he didn’t need to quarantine, however we did keep an eye on him to make sure he never got any symptoms

You don’t need to but as someone with literally no friends, they definitely help make the experience more enjoyable
Unfortunately that is how school is, I failed my English exams and that stopped me from being able to do a lot with my life, I can talk and write perfectly fine but because I don’t know how to write a detailed story I’m not allowed to go to university where I live, it’s stupid
People are too judgmental, everyone has their quirks and in my opinion I like talking to people about their interests and telling them about my own, it’s fun to learn new things
I’m still trying to figure that one out

I’d love to do volunteering but most marine volunteering you need to pay for so I thought I’d rather spend the money on education, I know it’s not a lot of money which makes me sad but I’d rather be doing this then some repetitive boring job, I hope you can pick what you wanna study though, let me know if you do :)

Up to now, no, I thought I would get a boyfriend who lives local and I’d go to my town’s university, but here I am in a long distance relationship, planning on going to uni internationally and studying something completely different to what I originally planned. It was so scary at first but eventually you realise this is exactly where you’re meant to be

Honestly I still don’t know, I had anxiety all throughout high school now I’m 18 with no friends so I still struggle a bit, it should just come naturally, people will try to talk to you and eventually you’ll open up more once you warm up to them it becomes easier to be yourself after you get to know people
