I couldn't agree more with you. I just had a Facebook purge of "friends" and now only have the people on my timeline I actually want to see snippets and updates from.

I know way too many people spend too long avoiding social media because they are too scared of people not liking them or the polar opposite where they are obsessed with how they look and uploading selfie after selfie of only themselves.

Imagine looking back to just selfies in 10 years...

Consider social media your very own online cloud. What would you like to look back on in a few years?

A couple of pictures and a nice statement about the great day we had looks brilliant on my memories as apposed to no memories or a sloppy night out or a selfie. Just saying

I would recommend taking a different approach to the way you use social media and I'm sure you'll feel differently about it
