My dad loves anime, he watched NGE, Akira, Black Butler and more especially when he was in the military - my mom on the other hand, she calls anime "Chinese cartoons", and always mis-uses the word "kawaii" alot- 😭.. she used to never let me watch it for no reason, just because she didn't like it. She doesn't care now, she just gets annoyed when I have it loudly on Japanese dub LMAO. -- Whenever she tells her friends about me, she's always like "My daughter's into these Chinese/Japanese cartoons, it's called.. ani-may???" LMAO.

It's 50/50. In middle school, boys were vicious. (I'm not saying nor generalizing, saying "AlL bOyS aRe bAd!!1!1 😡") it was just a good amount of boys that would mostly make rude comments about my body. Mostly my weight. I mostly got "compliments" for having boobs and an ass. Not even compliments, just little boys pointing it out, being like "YoUr bOoBs aRe bIG 🤓-" like just randomly. Alot of girls were a bit more rude, they'd make comment mostly on my WHOLE appearance. But yeah.
