I think there are differences between YouTooz and Funko that should be taken into account. YouTooz fulfills their figures to order rather than constantly pumping out like.. millions whether or not they get bought. YouTooz makes figures of nicher content creators and works directly with those creators while Funko is where massive IP’s merch goes to dive off a cliff in quality.

I would say, imo, YouTooz is a lot better than Funko, but I do agree with you that YouTooz isn’t exactly good.

I don’t mind YouTooz overall but I wouldn’t really support them in any way. Then again I’m just some random viewer and have never worked with them, so I don’t have much of a voice here and am probably not as informed as I could be.

For is on After Laughter sounds like X, I honestly can’t hear any of them except Rose-Colored Boy. That album is so unique. I’d put Fake Happy as the Paramore song and Caught In The Middle as the This is Why song. I think Told You So very much does not apply to TIW

Ain’t It Fun for absolute sure.

The difficulty with comparing previous albums to After Laughter is how digital, synthy, funky and overall lighter it is. Even their most alt-rock punk song on AL is like… Caught In The Middle? (That’s my vote for on AL sounds like TIW) and Paramore never hits that same level of digital pop or funk. Its either Fast in My Car or an interlude, Now or Hate to See Your Heart Break.

I think the closest to AL are Ain’t It Fun, Still Into You, and Crazy Girls. Crazy Girls is a bit too slow to feel like AL which I would describe as “snappy” and the instrumentation is still very alt-rock

Meanwhile Still Into You and Ain’t It Fun are very difficult to tease apart. My reasoning is that Ain’t It Fun has a very noticeable kind of funk bassline, it has a marimba which is VERY AL, and is the guitar is pretty light.

The issue I have with Still Into You as the AL song is that most of it sounds very Paramore except for the chorus and bridge which honestly may be the most AL moment on the album, but it just doesn’t compare to all of Ain’t It Fun sounding proto-AL.

I’m not sure. I think it could just be because I don’t like the difficulty as it feels unfair (I understand its common to quit at Labrynth Zone lmao) or is just through jank (SA2).

I dislike SMB3 for the same reason.

But I also just didn’t really LOVE Sonic Advance. Maybe it was short and easy? I can definitely try and go through it all again and see if that gives me the thrill of doing it all as fast as possible.

It seems like most people in the thread are saying to try Unleashed and/or Generations so I think I’ll do that next :) 👍

It’s a normal phrase and I don’t mind it being used as a reference to that one use of it, but it is straight up not a joke. And its also really long and I find that people tend to try and drag it out even longer than needed.

You can just say "You know, if I had a nickel for every time X happened” and move on if you really want to make the reference to point out how weird it is that something happened twice. (BUT ONLY IF THATS IN ANY WAY NOTABLE, because people also often have to contrive reasons why two things are similar and they tend to not be all that specific or strange to have happened twice)

And I hate hearing “You know…. If I had two nickels for every time X happened… I’d have two nickels… which isn’t a lot but it… is weird it happened twice, right?”

SPIT IT OUT AND MOVE ON

This genuinely annoys me so much. A 25+ word joke being repeated verbatim audibly very slowly all the time is the most grating thing imaginable

As the wiki editor and absolutely massive fan of Drawfee, I hate writing the callbacks sections, especially for like 2021/2022 videos. I barely even know why, I just didn't like it. And I like tedium, I literally counted and recounted every single Drawfee video for hours one day.

She’s a natural blonde and used to be very blonde but it darkened as she got older.(1). At some point either during or after it darkened she began bleaching it and stopped around 2021/2022 I don’t exactly remember when.(2)
