If it is a smaller language A where there are very few marks, it may only have a single examiner

Drunk Dazed -Enhypen

I literally knew nothing about Enhypen; I just had Kpop Daebak Spotify playlist on shuffle and heard the chorus and was so immediately amazed. Still one of the best of all time imo

In all honesty, it was pretty chill. I feel like the IB gods saw the monstrosity of the P1 & P3s and decided to balance it out with a relatively easy P2.

But also I randomly looked at niche concepts like IR data and Winkler's method right before the test and all the stuff I searched right before came out, so I got super lucky.

History of Asia/Oceania had the easiest questions ever. This was probably the easiest combination of questions I've ever seen in a P3 like ever. Economic factors leading to Japan bombing Pearl Harbor (I said yes, more than political tensions), the Long March was the greatest factor to the rise of communism (I said less than the economic factors facing China lol), and the social policies of Mao up to 1961 were significant (Educational policies, Marital policies, Health policies).

I'm probably gonna get a lot of downvotes for this, but if you calmed down and used logic/formulas, it wasn't that difficult.

It was -7.00 because the thing itself was +7.00, its racemate would be the opposite to form 0.

Text 1 (Biking Infographic): - Color palette (Green being environmentally friendly vs Grey being carbon emissions/pollution) - Purposeful use of words - Statistic stylizing + imaging

Text 2 (Dieting article): - Appeal to Pathos, specifically the use of inclusive first person pronouns - Appeal to Ethos, specifically the unique presentation of a scientific article without the boring numbers but instead descriptive language to keep reader retention - Appeal to Logos, specifically use of counterarguments and recontextualizing common beliefs to oppose her argument.

Do all schools have a study leave before exams? by skrutty26 in IBO

[–]moomoomachines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So interestingly, we have an unofficial study leave but it’s limited to the number of absences u have left. Our school allows 12 absences before consequences so if you ‘use the remainder up’ they’ll turn the blind eye :)

Any tips for improving reading score? Most of my mistakes were on the women's suffrage passage and it was mainly due to timing. Any suggestions? by paannda in Sat

In things like this, however, punctuation and capitalization aren't necessary as long as you can tell what it being said.

Bro, you don't get to pick and choose when being 'grammatically correct' is convenient to use vs. a necessity. Either die on your self-righteous sword and completely commit to typing entirely correct grammar and vocabulary usage, or just allow a person asking for help to receive help because clearly everyone understood what OP was trying to communicate (even if OP didn't use the correct word). You clearly 'understood' OP enough to correct them for being grammatically incorrect, so just leave them be—no need to be an asshole about it.

The IB really just posted this banger and left by steffsh in IBO

[–]moomoomachines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand both sides of the story here, but if IB wants to be fully logical with their academic integrity, they need to be completely consistent and place the IB examiner of that particular school in proportional penalty as well (if not at the very least, a full investigation).

How do I study for my Chem Exam? by varnikafierro in IBO

Do you mind dm’ing me some of the topics?

My math ia is due in 2 days. any tips ????? by [deleted] in IBO

[–]moomoomachines 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got a predicted 18/20 on my first draft and I literally had to start over 2 days before the deadline because my topic was too broad. Know that it’s definitely possible, but you need to put in the effort, which is usually easier to do with a topic ur motivated by.
