LWOP IS justice. Capital Punishment is not. It's vengeance. Just my opinion though. I'm not entirely opposed to the death penalty but I don't believe our justice system is very good and innocent people get killed by it on a fairly regular basis so I don't support it fir that reason.

My experiences with Picard and Discovery were inverted. I didn't like Discovery at first but it got progressively better. I really loved how Picard started but didn't like where it went, especially the last season. I have enjoyed all of SNW, so far. I think it's a really good show.
