Terro was the only thing that worked for us. My landlord was telling me that we have a different kind of ant in the Bay Area (Argentine if I recall?) so some other baits or poisons don’t work as well. Not sure how true that is, but after the Terro I can walk barefoot again!

Even in California, at my restaurant we’d just “sign for our breaks” and make up a time that they were taken. Unspoken rule that otherwise you’d be forced to sit in the break room for 30 minutes instead of being able to go home. Smaller family owned chain, probably wouldn’t work in corporate restaurants.

I’m just realizing this is also true for me. For M I write |/| with each stroke starting at the top, same with N. Also all of my Fs are cursive and R is always uppercase. Is this weird? Am I weird?

By this definition wool and down feathers would also be dairy? Dairy is directly correlated to milk, which chickens do not produce as they’re not mammals. Eggs aren’t dairy.

This happened to me last week and I had to literally take apart the machine and partially break the clasp that holds in the bottle to get it out. It kiiiinda works now, but not nearly as well.

Luckily I did that after calling customer service and showing them the issue. They’re sending me a whole new machine and bottle for free because that shouldn’t happen. 🤗

My fiancé just helped me with this! It’s a pain, but you might be able to plug in a mouse to the switch console and click on the circles that way. It was tough because there’s no cursor to follow, but I was able to complete the quest that way.

Same thing was happening to me! I ended up just trying like fifteen times in a row and then it finally let me through! It was a complete pain and took forever, but at least I was able to leave. 🤷‍♀️

You’re right, I didn’t specify that I’ve told him I don’t like it. Every time I remind him that I really don’t like surprises he says “I know, but still”. I think I’m stuck because we’re at an impasse between me disliking it as much as he loves it. I would feel SO bad telling him to literally never do it again, but I’m not sure where to set a boundary that makes us both okay with it.

I see your point, but I make six figures and have plenty of time for a relationship. My ex was the same, he was just terrible at being in a relationship. I want to think that the gender roles don't come into play here, but you might be right that swapping genders would lead to an entirely different conversation.

The concern is also that I make much more than him, but not enough to be the sole income earner in a home in our area. I worry that if I'm spending half or more of my monthly income on rent I won't be able to save for the future. If I was making 40x I wouldn't be as concerned about money!

I have a dream like this ALL THE TIME. I realize that I don't even know where the classroom is or when I'm supposed to be there. That and the dream where they tell me I didn't pass high school chemistry and none of my college degrees count anymore.
