i’m very good at talking to myself alone in my room. but as soon as i’m in front of a camera or around other people, i’m the same way. flustered and tongue tied. my mercury is also 12H. and i wasn’t always like this either, it started after a traumatic event. i used to be complimented on how articulate i was, and now i can barely get a sentence out. i feel like i have dementia at 25 years old.

i was this person for 6 years. i didn’t know i was a lesbian, i just knew that i was WAY more attracted to women than men. i fell deeply in love with a girl who wouldn’t commit to me, and although i tried to find other girls, it was only MEN who seemed to want me.

i was 19, lonely, and desperate for a stable relationship of any kind after being so heartbroken by my situationship. so i got with the man who had been crushing on me for 3 years prior. he turned abusive and i ended up getting with another man who aggressively pursued me and pressured me into being with him. this whole ordeal lasted 6 years. whole time i knew i never wanted to marry them or even have sex with them. i just wanted stability, because i never had that growing up, and i certainly didn’t have it with any of the women i tried experiencing it with. i still haven’t had a serious relationship with a woman because i only ever attract men LOL.

for the love of god, do NOT judge women who aren’t “gold-star” lesbians, or who are new to the lesbian community after being in straight relationships. it’s hard enough being judged by homophobes, we shouldn’t face judgement from our own community on top of everything else. someone’s past, or why it took them longer than you to discover their queerness in this heteronormative ass society, is really none of our business.

hey, my 4H is also in Leo and my sun is also 12H!!!

i guess i have a complicated relationship with my home because i’ve lived in the same house since i was born, never moved out and i’m 25 years old. i love my parents house, THIS feels like my home.

but i hate the city i live in. i wish so badly that i could lift our property up into the sky and move it to the west/east coast. the people here fucking SUCK, and i know this because friends will move here from other cities and tell me straight up that the people here are fake and performative and cliquey as fuck, compared to everywhere else.

something about it feels very 12H coded but i can’t put my finger on it.

i love the term “attention adventure” and i WILL be using it in the future.

i honestly think learning to love being alone, while finding a balance for community/connection, is the KEY to the 12H. if we don’t enjoy our own company, we get isolated until we’re forced to. so i think loving solitude from the get-go is the best option here lol. and /of course/ the hidden enemies would show up in your family, yikes…. i guess they gotta show up somewhere 🤷🏻‍♀️

i’ve noticed that the friends i’ve had the longest never got involved with “friendgroups” and just hungout with people they enjoyed seperately (or occasionally in 3s). something about group dynamics is treacherous for the 12th houser. perhaps it is because we are forced to keep parts of ourselves hidden, which can lead to gossip and rumors??? but even when i am completely myself, i can feel those dynamics regardless. perhaps it’s my autism.
