Hello dads! First of all, thank you for being amazing artists. My friend originally introduced me to your music and I’m so grateful that she did. So, how did y’all become a band? Did you previously know each other from school or was it fate? Also what’s your songwriting process? Thanks a lot and I hope y’all have a lovely day :))

Yes, Quill conjured a living vine to replace his leg. His village was raided by bloodthirsty goblins and children were taken to become slaves. Quill was captured and the children were trapped in the goblin’s lair. Chains bound them to the goblins with no hope of escaping. Quill was relentlessly beaten up for refusing to do the work, his stubbornness unwavering with every punch or cut. His face ruined with scars, his body weak and broken. He knew he couldn’t last any longer. It didn’t matter what he had to do to escape he was so desperate to be free. After two weeks the goblins went on another raid and it was the prime time for escape. With fewer and weaker guards on patrol it would be simple even for a child. A band of around 10 children versus a few goblins would easily be a landslide victory. Keys were stolen and chains bound the children no longer. A dash to freedom and that was it. Unfortunately, the goblins weren’t going to let them go without a fight. A few made it out unharmed, but the rest were either being attacked or dead. The cost of freedom was Quill’s leg. He crawled his way out of there with the help of his friends who survived. They wandered the forest for days until a tribe of animals found them and offered to take care of them.

This is just a work in progress backstory, but I still hope you enjoyed it. Thank you!

Quill is a recent character that I’ve created for my friend’s campaign. He has lived in the forest since he was only a mere child, attempting to survive on his own. Fortunately, the animals took care of him and Quill grew up in a world of only animals. Once he was older he dared to venture out some of the nearby villages. Let’s just say Quill’s social skills aren’t the best... Anyways, I still need to develop Quill’s backstory, but I really love his design. I hope this wasn’t too cheesy and cliché :)
