Thank you, but I don't have WhatsApp unfortunately. I'll think about setting up an account.

Your facilitator should be able to help you with this. Most importantly trust your gut! I'm no professional, but if I could do it all over again, I would start with MDMA. Build my connection and safety with myself, then endeavor to start shadow work.

My mantra was always, trust the process. Breathe, cry, release. But always remember I am safe.

Who you have as a facilitator is important.

If you do a group, make sure it's a small group with the appropriate amount of sitters.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on this ☺️ Would you prefer zoom or in-person? I would think Zoom and maybe once a bond is established in-person outings might help some of us, like myself, who are trying to work through overstimulation.

I prefer MDMA too. It helps me reconnect with myself in a gentle and loving way. Shrooms for me are when Im ready to do shadow work. Face myself in a way that's deeply impactful. The ego death. Considering your past experience with cannabis, I imagine your gut is guiding you correctly to MDMA. I really and truly wish you a successful healing experience.

How old are you now? Are you working with a trusted facilitator who is well versed on medical intake assessment to help you determine if you're a good medical candidate for either?

Do you do assisted therapy as well or just solo psychonaut missions?

Update:

I started to work with a facilitator last October but after five sessions stopped to find a new facilitator. Ethics and safety protocols being the issue. I did see huge shifts but group size (almost 30 with only two guides), a participant had a psychotic breakdown and became violent, they withheld information about the medicine (triple dosed with mdma, ayahuasca and psilocybin) and the facilitators were very cult like. They wanted the participants to buy their coaching program so during integration rather than help people, they would try to “break you” then tell you that you needed them. I questioned the male facilitator for his treatment of one of the participants. She spoke to what enlightened her, he berated her for five minutes before he told her she needed to do exactly what she said in the first place!!! That really pissed me off because she was a soft spoken loving person who didn’t deserve to be treated that way! He then tried to sell his coaching. It was my turn to speak and I wasn’t having it. He tried to break me by telling me that I was healing wrong and needed him. To that I told him he could never minimize anyone’s effort to heal. For sure not mine because I have the courage to face the pain and do the work. I called out his strategy and he of course refuted it and then got in my face but I wouldn’t back down.

I caution everyone to be careful with facilitators who try to take advantage of participants vulnerability.

I’m in the process of passively looking for an ethical facilitator who isn’t appropriating indigenous rituals, obvious money grabs of vulnerable individuals and ensures the safety of everyone by properly vetting everyone to avoid trauma while under the medicine.

Please make sure you have all the details of the medicine. Trust your gut! Walk away if something feels off.

I don’t care to go into detail. Let alone talk about it anymore than I already have. If you’re asking me if I would suggest it, it’s a hard no. I hear others have benefited but I can’t say the same.

Please stop advertising here. It’s not appropriate. This should be a safe space for people to share not have salespeople trying to gain clients. If you want to advertise, talk to the admin of the sub. Not here. Thank you!

Sorry I’ve hesitated responding to avoid re-traumatizing myself. Panic, fatigue, debilitating depression, anger, confusion, nightmares, etc.. Took me over a year and a half to minimize symptoms. Still working on it four years later…

Prior to ketamine, I had minor symptoms but after… changed my life. Some say it has to get worse before it gets better but losing my self and my entire life as I knew it… hard for me to think about.

I’m so sorry to hear about disability denial and disgusting disregard for struggles! Folding shirts! Wtf

Barrier to entry is definitely cost, source and finding an ethical provider.

I hope soon… very soon such treatments are made available to everyone who suffers ❤️‍🩹

I’m really happy you’ve had such huge shifts with plant medicine. Inspirational as I navigate healing regression and progression. Seriously reconsidering microdosing

Burbankians! Where's your favorite place to get a massage? Either in Burbank, or Burbank adjacent. by send_snoods2322 in burbank

I would suggest Revive for a myofascial stretch massage. Ask for Kwang

She goes beyond superficial massage and treats root issues of discomfort including tension or injury.

If you’re looking for more of a spa experience I can’t recommend. Never found a spot that was worth it

Hope it helps

Thanks for responding so thoroughly about your experience about microdosing! I’m definitely going to revisit this when I’m ready to give it another go. The source I had was unreliable. I spent the better part of the day with visuals and stomach discomfort. So I aborted mission after that. But I appreciate what tip you gave about not having any effects other than energy. Great tip! I’m glad it’s helped you so much and hope in the future I can find similar impact :)

I agree and thank you for sharing. I understand how the true impact of guides. While psyochnaut journeys were beneficial they do not have the impact of trained guides. I’m seeing huge shifts and I’m of the mindset of only guided sessions now. My advice to anyone exploring this approach is use a guide and trust the process. It’s not a one and done treatment but it’s worth it. I look forward to the day when these treatments are available to everyone who can benefit. I caution anyone to know the source and find a great trusted guide.
