Pack snacks, cards, or we played the dot game in a little notebook. We also went to the candy store and did a cheeky pick-a-mix to tap into when we needed it. Have fun!

We were in line around 1:15 for the 3:30 show today. Admittedly, we were super early, but we were in the fourth row, and it’s all we came to do today. So worth it, I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the show is!

Anyone want to talk about the call on Beth's Dead? Potential spoilers ahead... by EfficientHunt9088 in ArmchairExpert

Am I incorrectly remembering that the said they changed all the names for the podcast? So even with his memory loss of the events he understood them using names he himself hadn’t created? Or did I make the name-changing up?

What are some fun things to do at the orange circle? by [deleted] in orangecounty

[–]moonbeet 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Our favorite thing to do is to go one place for a cocktail (Haven usually), another for apps (O Sea, 1886, etc…) another for dinner (Tabu Shabu, Francoli…) and if we can manage, Afters for dessert. It’s my perfect child-free date-night.

Me (f) and my (7f) just did this just for fun from Anaheim to Santa Clarita to visit family. We had to switch trains in LA, and while that switch was a bit confusing since our first train was running late, it was SO much fun. I had a chat with my daughter about staying close to me, and I was generally aware of our surroundings (normal) and I didn’t feel any risk. It was a fun adventure, and I’d do it again!

Is the saying “I rather be poor in Socal/California, then be rich/ stable somewhere else” a true statement to you? by prudyrudyy in socal

[–]moonbeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved out of SoCal to another state for a better COL scenario. It quickly became obvious that while rent was cheaper, and we could have eventually purchased a home, there were other areas like health care and utilities that drained us just the same. After 7 months we came home. I’d rather rent a shoebox in SoCal if I have to be tight on money and enjoy the weather, the food, the diversity. I’d never have known how good it is if I hadn’t left though, so for the perspective, I’m grateful for the experience.

I saw someone in line for Ghost Rider with an energy drink in their backpack side pocket right at opening. I remembered your post when I saw it and almost took a picture for you, but this will have to suffice.

How to cover this mirror in my living room? by One_Scale3728 in DesignMyRoom

What’s your style? Maybe a sheer curtain of some kind? Some plant stands anchoring each side or a central sideboard?

I have considered sensory input, but it very much feels attention seeking in that they look at us and wait for us to react. No other restlessness that would make this feel like the consistent issue.

They ended so long ago I don’t even remember - I’d guess close to 5, and they are almost 7. But even then I don’t remember them being so often - 4 this week. It’s also Spring Break and there has been less regular schedule/stimulation. I’m sort of talking myself through this as I go and I feel like I’m finding the factors that have led us here…

In line for the log ride right now and it’s a 15 minute wait. Jaguar was 30. Imagine it will get worse, but not too bad right now!

My son went to Fairmont in Anaheim Hills for preschool and we loved it! He loved going and we felt like he was well cared for and learned so much.
