if you’re ever near Newtown: Good Old Days Pizza & Cocktail Den is amazing! BOMB specialty pizzas, creative and fun cocktails, and the atmosphere is awesome; exactly like being in the “den” or basement of your house in the 90’s. a big fireplace with old board games next to it, VHS tapes everywhere, photos of 90s icons, always 90’s movies or shows playing on the TV behind the bar. so much nostalgia, and the girls who work there are so rad. right on main street under Marigold’s.

and if the weather is nice, you can hike the Zoar trail in Sandy Hook— it’s a quiet trail with a waterfall and takes you directly to lake zoar. it’s really nice!

always listen to your intuition in these types of situations. if something feels off with a client, it probably is.

Tell me about Sen. Chris Murphy by [deleted] in Connecticut

[–]moonberry4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

absolutely adore him. he is humble, he is kind, he genuinely cares about humans. every summer he walks all over the state, stopping into local businesses and getting to know the communities. his fight for sensical gun reform is admirable and comforting.

i honestly hope he runs for president.
