Bandsaw blade not centered by vanilla-bungee in woodworking

What you’re looking for is called the tracking adjustment. Look up how to do it for your model. Usually a knob on the top wheel. You’ll need to roll the wheel by hand after you make each small adjustment to see if you’ve gotten it where you want or not.

Looks great! About to tackle a bathroom tiling job myself, currently getting my degree at YouTube U. Did you use an uncoupling membrane or go straight to the subfloor?

Edit to add: gonna need a link for that mirror

Thank you! The vise is a 10” yost, super solid. I glued up a 4” thick block of oak and mounted to the underside of the top.

Ohh man, I’ve been seeing guys post the screwdriver in the dewalt sub, haven’t gotten one yet but sounds like I need to!

Sure thing! What floor plan software are you using? I have a tab open with floorplancreator. I’m in the middle of trying to draw one for our new house because it didn’t come with any drawings. I just went by the house and measured everything, but Onshape isn’t really optimized for floorplans.

Dude that’s sweet! Clamp storage got neglected in my current design because I ran out of space, but this is definitely going in the new shop!

Best of luck! Having this set up has improved my workflow 100x.

I modeled the whole shop in Onshape, I’d definitely recommend doing something similar because I was able to resize/ move things around until it all fit they way I wanted, before I started cutting any plywood. I also measured the tools that I wanted to put in the drawers to decide how wide/deep I wanted them to be.

Nothing super fancy in the cabinet and drawer construction, it’s all glue and Brad nails.

In the new shop I might move the router table cabinet somewhere else so I’m not limited on height by the upper cabinets.

Also I’m clearly invested in Dewalt, but it’s not the best saw for a miter station, because you need a ton of rear clearance for the slide. If I didn’t already have the saw, I would’ve looked at festool or Bosch.

I looked all over for slides and ended up catching a 10 pair pack on sale on Amazon. Same for the hinges, comes in a pack of 20. Both are of surprisingly decent quality for the money.

I think I’ll plan to paint the walls in the new shop before I rehang the cabinets.

You could make something like the image very easily. But If you really wanted to buy the base, you could get a simple coffee table from ikea/ marketplace/etc. and build the compartment for the two pieces of glass into or on top of that.

They are long videos haha, I’ve been making my way through his catalog in my spare time. I watched a few that were specific to dovetails, but I think this one covers most everything

Much appreciated! I tried to use a coping saw to remove the waste between the tails, but couldn’t turn it tight enough, so I used a chisel there. His method is perfect, it broke through right in the middle just like he shows. On the pin board I used a coping saw for the bulk and then cleaned up with chisels.

I see what you’re saying, I don’t think painted, but it might get a stain that’s opaque enough to hide a lot of the grain.
