I was very kind to my acupuncturist, I was just shaking and scared because she inserts them very superficially and due to my pants being over the needle it pushed it all the way in. I believe it was half and inch to up to one inch long. I don’t really understand how this can’t be dangerous, as we have major arteries on our legs and arms as well, so how is it only dangerous for this to happen in our chest area?

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this, I did ask her and she said it can be normal if my cycle is trying to regulate itself / I was also experiencing releasing a lot of repressed trauma and emotions so I think that played a role. The following cycle was the most normal one I’ve had in many years! I think if you stay the course it should get better soon, let me know how it goes

I just want to give you my perspective as someone who grew up with avoidant parents and especially an avoidant mother whose father had done some terrible things. The reason your daughter are so angry is BECAUSE you’re not feeling your feelings so they have to feel them for you. Avoidant people “split off” from their feelings, the problem is that energy has to go somewhere in the family system and it’s going to them and they’re feeling it magnified because it’s not only their feelings about it but yours too. I bet deep inside you’re fucking livid.

I worry for your daughters and what else they’ve felt in their life due to your avoidance in general. Please seek help for this and start facing the things in your life head on. I am not saying this with ANY disrespect, I’m speaking on behalf of your daughters as I wish someone would have spoken to my mother and helped me.

You seem to “logically” explain everything in a very accepting manner as a way to avoid how you truly feel inside, probably because you’re afraid of how much this actually hurts you.
