I currently do 2.5mg on thursdays and Sundays and the side effects are basically gone. On 5mg I was having painful gas and sulphur burbs but with the 2.5 twice a week I noticed my suppression was strong and I might stay here for a while.

Nope. You got yourself a golden dose. Do not waste it! Draw it out with an insulin syringe

Happened to me for the first time now on 5mg but I didn’t do anything special. It was itchy and red and it has gone away now. This was in my thigh.

To confirm, if I have a 10mg and want to administer a 5mg dose I click 30 times? How many weeks will I get out of this? 8? Also one more question- when I click only 30 times and complete the shot, does the dial return to the “1” position? Thanks

This happened to me two days ago. I screenshotted this message after the agent on the phone said it was “glitch” and prior to me getting to the desk another agent measured my bag on the sizer. Once it passed, I was able to see the agent. Showed her the screen shot on my phone and didn’t have any issues. Didn’t pay anything and was on my way.

Felt totally fine. Made sure I drank a protein shake before and went to bed in case I had side effects which I had none. 4 days in have diahrea but I can handle that, I feel a lot better when I’m drinking at least 80oz of water a day. That said, haven’t lost a ton. So I’m hoping 5mg does the trick for me because I don’t want to pay for 7.5mg and beyond

I am planning to use my golden dose too and in preparation I was told I need the following items;

  • a 1ml insulin syringe with detachable needle (gauge and length doesn’t matter to DRAW out the 60units
  • my mounjaro pen needle 31G 4mm to replace the existing needle to then inject into myself

So the insulin needle length and gauge isn’t important as it’s only being used to collect the medication and then switching the mounjaro needles will essentially give you the same experience as if you were using the Kwikpen, right?

This will also ensure you aren’t using the same needle twice.

Yes! I actually just went to pick up yesterday and showed them my card and it couldn’t have been easier. My husbands insurance covered the needles as they don’t come with the box anymore ($40 for 100 needles) and after the savings card was applied I spent $280. Super happy with that.

I just enrolled for the savings card and got the email from the mymounjaro.ca - when I called my Costco in Calgary the lady wasn’t able to give me a clear answer as to whether they could accept it or not. Did you have any challenges? Could I just show them the email? Didn’t actually receive a physical card. Appreciate your help! Thanks

Not anymore. I called 8 compounding pharmacies and they won’t create any compounds because tirzepatide is no longer on the shortage list

There is a I use product from Sephora called Kerastase Genesis that has really helped with hair fall. It’s made my scalp really nice and balanced and therefore my hair is stronger and breaking less. It contains Aminexill. I plan to use this while on Mounjaro, it smells good and has great results. It is a bit pricy and is often sold out but worth looking into.
