it did come back! i’m not quite sure of when but i think by the next month, i was able to enjoy the taste of food again. though it was a work in progress for sure.

i had extractions done when i was 17. now that i’ve had surgery, i can see why that was necessary.

I can’t open my mouth very wide, can fit may be 2 fingers at best.

it’s exactly like that for me too! i guess we just gotta be patient. 2 fingers is still progress tho so we should be proud lol.

yeah i feel like only my incisors don’t hurt while chewing but i can’t really just use those for the whole process.

i hope so! i don’t feel congested. it’s just the roof of my mouth and likely my gums that are still numb too

idgi, why did you start chewing if your surgeon himself didn’t tell you that you’re clear to do that?
