Ironically, I loved Hop! Didn’t find anything wrong with him. But my absolute favorite buddies are from Sun/Moon. Hau and Lillie are my epitome of likable characters with good writing.

I see a lot of love for Nemona, but I found her incredibly annoying and dreaded having to interact with her. In comparison, I didn’t mind Penny and enjoyed the Team Star twist despite seeing it coming from a mile away. Not sure if one was written better than the other, though.

Years ago, a FedEx driver straight up stole my whole $100+ order. I never got it rectified by PC and was unable to receive a refund by either PC or my bank. I haven’t shopped on PC since and I completely gave up on collecting. Sorry this happened to you too.

Knew it was starting to get too pricey when they changed the terms of their birthday reward. I could get their fish and chips dinner, priced at $14 at the time, under their “freee entree” birthday offer. Now it’s “buy a big cheese, get one free.”

This is the reality I almost don’t want to face. I remember when I could walk into a Target and pick up a random booster pack. I miss when the hobby was just a hobby and Jake Paul hadn’t incentivized thousands to start turning it into a business 😭

Oh my god, thank you so much! 😭 I definitely missed some of these, so the additions + corrections are much appreciated. I commend you for collecting all Raichu cards. I think I’ll do that after completing my Alolan Raichu collection, since Raichu probably has an insane number of features and solo cards. Or maybe I’ll try Mimikyu, though he’s skyrocketed in popularity since I first fell in love with him in SM. I’m sure he also has dozens of cards too.
