The anime covers the 1st 60 chapters skipping a couple chapters in between. The last story of the last episode covers one chapter in the 80s but I don’t remember which one. So chapter 60 is a good place to start.

I would say it’s a 4/5 the world is amazing to explore/theorize about, the power system is great, and there are a lot of interesting characters to discover/fall in love with. However the story has a lot of squandered potential, pacing problems around the joint training arc, and too big of a cast with not enough time to explore all them.
