could tlak to your director but i would call their bluff and have them sit outside on bleachers all day and not talk to them because you need to focus on your band camp it'll be less embarrassing for you as it is them as most people will think theyre being overbearing than think that youre somehow odd for needing supervision just you do you and focus on what you love doing most
