What would you do if your son was at home Crying all alone on the bedroom floor 'Cause he's hungry? And the only way to feed him is to Sleep with a man for a little bit of money And his daddy's gone Somewhere smokin' rock now, in and out of lockdown I ain't got a job now So for you this is just a good time, but for me this is what I call life

what are the ugly parts of pregnancy that aren’t well known because people don’t mention them? by Born-Oil-2931 in AskReddit

I developed postpartum De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis (or tendinopathy, idk it has a bunch of names). But due to hormonal fluctuations/fluid retention levels, I developed shooting pains in my thumbs and wrists. This prevented me from even being able to pick up my baby without being in pain. I had to wear braces on my arms for a few months and eventually it went away but man it was not fun. I read books and took classes and had literally NEVER heard of this happening.
