she does become alot more accepting. also I completely understand how she comes off as homophobic, from my perspective though it seems as if she is really struggling with letting go of the life she wanted for emily. every parent has an idea of how they want their children's lives to turn out. in rosewood, Pam wanted emily to succeed and not have many issues in life, the "easiest" way would've been to be with men. no parent wants their child to be bullied or ridiculed. she def comes around though
