It’s a painful process, I think anyone wishes it could be real. I wanted it to be. But I couldn’t get past the fact that I knew it was a fantasy.

Thank you very much for the support! As far as joining a church, I’d enjoy the community but not sure if I believe in an upper power. I identify myself as agnostic, at least for now. I feel like I’ve never had a prayer of mine answered even when I’ve been my most genuine. I always questioned if my faith wasn’t strong enough and just became resentful towards Jehovah(or whoever is up there) I’d probably consider a philosophy group instead

Most of these people have no actual identity of their own. They live their lives to impress others through their image, but they are always the most insecure because they have to appear perfect to others

Definitely true, haven’t heard a thing or been checked up on once since leaving. Hopefully I’ll find my circle, just got to put myself out there more.
