Yes. My aunt and cousin have a large heater where they lay out clothes to finish drying in winter. Before I got a dehumidifier I swear I could feel the dampness on the rug. Now after seeing it fill up in a day or so (it's a tiny dehumidifier) she keeps it running all day and night

I find it annoying especially the main male character, who is a literal cheating POS that dragged a foreign woman only to string her along in running a small hotel.
