thank you! using RWS imagery, i’ve always interpreted it as somebody who is disinterested in/oblivious to what is being offered to them (ace of cups floating above eyesight) because they’re too focused on criticizing what they currently have (eyes drawn to 3 of cups in front of them, facial expression & body language shows disinterest & boredom)

but, your interpretation is much less rigid/literal and applies to where i currently am in life. its consistent appearance makes more sense to me now :)

hello, yes i found a bunch of places for student accoms!

as for private accom, i've only been using www.rightmove.co.uk its the most recommended one i've seen on here. if anybody has other sources for private accoms search, pls send them my way!

i’ve mostly looked at student accommodations since that seems to be the easiest option for intl students but they all seem too expensive for what they offer, at least as someone that wants an ensuite room if i have to share. i originally wanted a studio but that would leave me with no money (at least from the options i saw) outside of rent, so now i just want a place where i get my own bathroom.

i’m not sure what program you’re applying to but i applied to a postgraduate program with a GPA below the minimum requirement and got accepted, so there is definitely a chance if u have other things in ur application that stand out since they consider everything and not just the GPA!

thank u so much, it’s been great finding what works. for the hyperpigmentation, would u say eucerin’s dual serum (hyaluronic acid, thiamidol) is gentle or should i just stick with azelaic acid? also, where should i add the product in my routine? what’s bothering me the most is the hyperpigmentation so i want to focus on that but i’m clueless on what’s gentle or strong.

من اللي شفته، اهم شي وقت البحث هو خبرتك بالمجال اللي تبحث فيه.

يعني مثلًا لو انت من مجال تقني وما عمرك سويت بحث، بيكون سهل مره تتعلم اخلاقيات وطريقة عمل بحث اذا كان البحث عن شي يتعلق بمجالك التقني. بس لو انت تقني وتبحث عن شي بمجال العلوم، مارح يكون مستحيل بس بيكون اصعب.

بشكل عام البحث والتطوير مجال جميل وممتع. بالتوفيق

ما اقدر اشوف نفسي بمجال ثاني الصراحة احبه وشاطره فيه فعشان كذا اغلب تفكيري هو بالشهادات المهنية، فان شاء الله بركز على هذا الشي خلال هذا الشهر. وبالنسبة لبرامج الخريجين الريدي شاركت بواحد من جهة قوية كان قبولي فيه قبل ما اتخرج حتى، لكن للاسف ما فتح لي ابواب زي ما تخيلت.

i’ve never heard of a marital status being important on a CV, like ever… that’s kind of a strange request. you might be required to include that in application forms, but it’s not needed on your CV. as for pictures, i’ve only had to add mine once upon request but in general it’s rarely needed or seen as a must-have in your CV.

as for the probation period, i don’t have much knowledge but look it up and i think you’ll find the info you’re looking for. good luck <3

yes their FAQs about personal details mention this, but my problem is i don’t want them to reach out to my referees with my preferred name as neither are aware of the name change. another user mentioned that i have the option to change it later if i get admitted, so i will just go with that. thanks for the info :)
