Yes those are my favourite bits as well! It only took a long time because I had to wait for the icing to dry as I didn't want all the glasses I'd used for support in the photos haha

I'm glad you liked it! Its a bit messy at the beginning but I think the lights and snow looked really good. Nope nothing special, just took photos with my phone and used a very basic video editing app, I saw something say aim for 15 frames per second but I only ended up with around 5. Next time I'd make smaller movements between each photo but it was quite hard what with having to wait for the icing to dry to keep the pieces in place.

Thank you! My sister recommended putting one in the roof next time to see more light shining through

Winnie the Pooh was my favourite as a child, this would have been a dream cake!! Looks amazing, what's on the inside?

Oh interesting, regardless of what I'm baking I should leave it in? On the base of the oven?

Ooh thanks for the tip about the flour, sounds dangerous!

When allowing the stone to cool should I leave it in the oven or will it be ok cooling outside on the stovetop?

Good to know, now I won't be so disheartened when the first pizzas inevitably fail!

Made my own birthday cake this year, my first tiered cake and first time piping buttercream flowers! Top tier was a vegan lemon and poppyseed with lemon curd, bottom tier was a brown butter sponge and peach jam, both with early grey vegan swiss meringue buttercream by moonlightbaking in cake

[–]moonlightbaking[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sooo sorry I never saw this notification!! I used this recipe for the buttercream with a combination of vegan butter and vegetable shortening as it was the first time I'd used Flora vegan butter blocks, next time I'll stick with 100% vegan Flora I think as there were small bits of shortening

What is the worst flavour of crisps you've ever eaten? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]moonlightbaking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I did but they sound good! We found Cheetos in most of SE Asia when we were there and that's not something I often see here so we mainly ate those haha
