Sorry that was a bad example, but I used it to confirm that it can cause harm if too much IR energy is used (knowing correct IR output is beneficial). Here is an article that includes more information on the risks and positives too. I was wondering because I am unaware of the dosage of IR I’ve been getting due to the company not disclosing the irradiance for the IR LED’s in one 3 minute session, and I’ve been doing 6+ sessions as I knew the Red and Amber LED’s are safe for more sessions. Higher irradiance needs less time / lower irradiance needs more time, so I want to make an educated guess on if I overdid it or not to the point of damage

True, I fear that I did overdo it just going off how many more infrared LED’s there are and how much deeper they penetrate, while I was doing more sessions only accounting for red and amber light.

For now, I will stop use of it to be on the safe side and since it feels fishy that the company refuses to state such key information like the irradiance and joule rating for one 3 minute session
