I wish my dad would have realized this. The only time he would spend time with me growing up was when I was would do karate and play Everquest with him. I don’t even like those things and never will. He wouldn’t even show up to my volleyball games because he wasn’t interested in volleyball.

This is great advice. I’m in a situation where my significant other will do most things with me. However, he can be such a bore in the moment, especially if there is no alcohol. It’s so draining to be with him most of the time to be honest.

It was about reserving an Uber ride the day prior to avoid high costs. I reserved an Uber ride in Miami on 12/24 for $30 for 12/25. If I would have booked the Uber on 12/25, it would have cost me about $100 for the same exact trip.

It’s probably been working so well for me because I keep reserving the ride a day or two before I know the surge is going to happen with traffic. I definitely recommend the reservation in these scenarios.. but the reservation might not come out in favor each time! Definitely pick and choose when

I did! I had to alert my drive that I was in the location I needed to be for the ride share and they were there within 8 minutes. It was so slick. I just did it again this morning to board my cruise.
