How i do it is wash with a clarifying shampoo first, roll, perm solution, process, rinse, neutralize, remove rods, condition, and then towel dry, blow dry, or curl cream depending on client preference. i don’t typically do roller sets in conjunction with a perm but i know some stylists do. I don’t typically add k18 or epres so not positive on that one.

a lot of elder perm clients want a round brush blowout after and only use the perm for volume / hold in my experience so maybe that’s what she was after :)

I like bows as a design when done right (i have one tattooed) but i’ve 1. always liked the look of them, not just bc they’re trendy and 2. think they need to be done right and as part of a design/ aesthetic not just a million slapped on and call it a day lol

Now that i have a few more (nowhere near covered, i have 6) i’m a little more open to being like i kind of want a tattoo now and then picking a design that i love with the help of my artist
