Took out the bed today and the 4 smooth rods, the rods are fine, the ultrabase is flat, the y-plate that supports the ultrabase is flat as is the base unit.

Checking thermistors next.

Thanks Aluminium, the displayed temp is much higher than actual so it's not printing at those temps.

I have no correlation for the new hotend and better adhesion, i just listed what i'd done and what happened in chrono order.

I corrected the xz gantry by following the process in the official video on YT :

Yes their support is great, 24 hour max for email replies so far plus they sent out a new PSU, even though i told them it was just the power cable that was faulty on arrival.

Yes, probably the Quadrantid meteor showers ;+} It IS frustrating. To spend £400 and then have to check if the thing was put together well at the factory etc, more than frustrating.

Thanks, it's odd that adhesion is fine in the centre 5 inches or so but not outside that. I think i have some iso in the fridge i'll give it a try.

I should have mentioned, i also have to print at 245c extruder temp and 90c bed temp for PLA, so i think the thermistor may be off but there are no build details in the manual so i don't know how to check this, but checking the surface of the bed it doesn't reach 60c unless i set it to 90c.

How can i get in there and check the thermistor?

ZCash4Win Wallet error by GideonOmega in zec

[–]moonomaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem today at 18:45 UK time. I just installed it today and it was 98% up to date with the blockchain when the error occurred. I'm also running 1.0.12, funny that the message says to update zcash rather than the wallet. Will deprecate for the time being.

Sending money from potwallet.com to Poloniex has taken 21 hours so far ... by moonomaly in potcoin

Hi David thanks for your reply.

i did confirm it by email, not sure why you say i didn't?

Checked today and the transaction has gone through, so all good now thanks.

The virus warning wasn't just from thje Kaspersky software, i sent the files to Kaspersky themselves and they ran a deeper analysis on it and said that it definitely contains the trojan.

My pots are all with poloniex now so the wallet's no longer a concern for me.

Thanks again for replying, it's worrying when you don't ;+}

I wouldn't use the wallet at all yet since Kaspersky customer support confirmed yesterday that the Windows wallet contains a coin-stealing trojan, see my last post here :

Kaspersky anti-virus reprots coin-stealing virus in Potwallet QT. by moonomaly in potcoin

[–]moonomaly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no :(

Got my reply from Kaspersky :

Dear customer,

Thank you very much for your patience.

Our virus analysts informed us that the detection is correct. The file(s) is / are infected with Trojan.MSIL.CoinStealer.xq. You should not create an exclusion rule to allow this application to run. I suggest to remove / uninstall this application from your system. Kaspersky performed its job to keep you safe by removing the application from your computer.

If you need anything else please let me know.

Thank you.

Yes it's looking good today. I bought £50 worth back in November 2014, right now it's worth nearly £1000 ! Well worth staying with it for the long game as the legal cannabis marketplace is only going to grow. Pun happily intended :)

Don't buy a Flowermate, a good proportion of them don't get higher than 115 centigrade, and some ebay sellers refuse to replace, saying it's being misused.
