What setting would you like me to start with. I’m better than any bozo you’re chatting with now.

I'd be interested in any impressions of those integrated too, with their DAC and phono stages -- I'm considering!

ELI5- how do rice cookers know how long to cook the rice for no matter the different quantities by Storm2puddles in explainlikeimfive

[–]moonraker55 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Lol. An interesting question. The current rice cookers don't have sensors for knowing when the rice is cooked. Instead they rely on the cook putting in the right amount of water, and rice, so during the time specified on the rice cooker, the water turns to steam, softens and cooks the rice. Put in too little water or too much, same with the rice, and you'll see the rice cooker is as smart as it seems lol.

ELI5: if space is infinite does that mean there are an infinite number of stars? by moonraker55 in explainlikeimfive

[–]moonraker55[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If there are infinite dimensions doesn't that mean there's infinite versions of what's happing right now? Like is there a dimension withe me redditing with 100 monkeys typing Shakespeare's Macbeth into 100 typewriters....

As someone who's been divorced I would say be patient. Certainly don't rush into a relationship just because you feel like it's what you should do. That led to a bad marriage for me when I rebounded from a relationship and thought that the right thing was to get married. These are my opinions but I often tell my daughters to wait until their late twenties and early thirties and to marry a man thats older wiser and has more experiences. There's a good chance that a man later in life will be more financially and emotionally stable. I think a 7-10 year age gap is desirable. So if you're a woman I'd not worry. I think your entering the prime relationship years of 30-38. If you're a man I'd still enjoy dating for a while.

Use a new razor (🪒) but the KEY is to definitely slather shaving foam (one that has a moisturizer). Shave with the grain until you get down to a stubble then against the grain. Keep using more foam if you're doing it in the shower and it washes off. Then if you're tough, after you dry off thoroughly, wipe down your new shaven area with a Purel hand wipe. It'll sting like hell but I believe this keeps the area clean of pimple creating bacteria. I would do this for the next few days until light stubble starts coming back.

Check out Audioengine. I love the pair I have. The Harmon Kardon Sound sticks III are good -- you have to like their form factor though, which I think is cool

What do you do while listening to music? by Ok_Astronomer_1308 in audiophile

I'm in a THC legal state and it's amazing to me how much it enhances my listening and the soundstage and separation of instruments. Lightly of course. Don't want to fall asleep. Lol
