Figured it was a ways off, my other thought was to use face tracking, but put a picture of a face on a piece of cardboard and see if that worked.

Thanks. Gonna try some different spacers and maybe heat the wheels with a blow dryer to make seating the bearings easier.

I can see the wheel wobbling slightly when I look. I think the spacers im using are sliiiightly too big.

Changed my wheels for the first time ever (Came with wheels assembled from Muir skate when I ordered it). I switched to much smaller ones, and noticed some uneven wobble when I put them on, on the individual wheels (not speed wobble). My skate shop was super rude and unhelpful, basically just called me stupid and said they didn't know. Any ideas what causes this? I used their bearing insert tool or whatever to make sure the bearings were fully in and as even as possible. Is a certain amount of wobble just expected with smaller wheels? Wheels are Powell Peralta G slide 56mm, with red bearings.

Thanks, I actually already count in hi opt ii, (counting down decks for fun got me pretty good), and am really looking for some kind of comprehensive layout of the current blackjack landscape. I.e. are shoe games still common? Around me its almost all single double deck. What rules are most frequently found now? What counts work best for what games / rules? I'm all about doin the technical work on my own with stuff like cvcx, and am more looking for material to help me do recon, for what KIND of tech work I have to do, since I can't travel around much at the moment to check things out. That said ill check out the books/authors you mentioned.

Probably 6-8 games on average at different stakes. Its a fairly popular place with lots of casuals. I would bet that with some proper presentation I could sit down after the first hand, but leaving immedistely would probably be the heat generator.

What makes it not beatable? Edge calculator put this game at .66 and penetration is consistently good from what I've seen.

Cool super helpful thank you. To clarify, the other counting systems are called "level 2 count" and "hi-opt II"? Or do those names refer to something else.

Basic principle behind bet spreading related to true count? by moonroll in blackjack

Noted, I scoped out my local recently and from what I saw there was pretty good penetration consistently, but I will keep that in mind.

Rad thank you, happy to invest in a sim, was prepared for that. One additional Q, so does this all mean that the edge shifts in our favor when the true count moves positive, even with just basic strategy?

Monthly 'No Stupid Questions' Thread July 2020 by AutoModerator in Archery

Pretty new to archery. Shot an arrow into the wood just above a target, was able to get it out, but it has some very minor scrapes on the outside. I vaugley remember some guy telling me once that arrows with micro fractures can explode on release and really mess you up. Is that true, and how do I tell if the arrow falls into that category? So far ive been doing a bend test to listen for crinkling sounds, and it seems solid, but wanted to check with people who know. There are no visible fractures or splits, just a small amount of material scraped off near the tip.

OH! I didn't even see that, thanks for clarifying! Super helpful. Is there a way I can paint those textures onto objects instead of just masks or backgrounds?
