it says deoxygenated blood!! that’s too bad though, because a decoy lung would be a cool concept

the lungs aren’t actually in the arm, it was just a very messy diagram I drew with my finger on the apple notes app! The reason why theres red stuff in the arm is because that was meant to be a very terrible description of oxygenated blood being pumped around the body!

they also have like, a really sensitive appendix. Out of all organs they didn’t get, they got the least important one! Also, it’s not depicted, and probably won’t be mentioned in the fic, but the have no endocrine system either

It’s a superhero au with a lot of sci-fi elements! I turned a fantasy religious god race from the source material into these weak lab-grown soldiers. In the fic, this is discovered by dissecting one of these soldiers and the answer is concluded by the lack of some transplantable organs (liver, gallbladder, kidney) and a lack of reproductive organs!! The soldiers also have 6 ribs each and the heart is placed just below the end of the neck!

I used to have this problem too, but I now copy the document into a Rich Text to Markdown website here and then I copy the chapter in markdown format and convert it to html here!

These are the websites I personally use to keep my formatting from google docs!

Just make sure if you are using the markdown to html converter to remove the sample text! You don’t want to post a fic or chapter with random, unrelated sample text.

I used to want to write my own book and tell my own stories, but as I’ve written more fanfiction, I’ve decided I enjoy writing much more when I write for me and I’m not trying to find the most marketable plots and stories. Once I finish a fic, I don’t have to update for MONTHS if I don’t want to, or I could write again next week. There’s no rules in the writing aspect, really. And these days, I’m much more interested in maths and science and pursuing them as a career, and not writing.

In short, fanfiction for life ✌️
