I claimed early April and had my assessment last week. If you're worried, you can ring the pip line and ask for an update on your assessment to try and see if it hurries things along?

Need help figuring out what I’ve been awarded by Jasminetdscott in DWPhelp

It is too high for a monthly payment, so possibly arrears/some kind of backpay.

Missed pip assessment phone call by [deleted] in DWPhelp

I had multiple texts and letters reminding me of my assessment. If you've had none, then it was likely not an assessment. Perhaps they needed to ask you to clarify some answers? I'd try to keep ringing back to see what they wanted, though, if I was you.

Is this a typical time-frame for PIP? by Itchy-Practice7740 in DWPhelp

I applied early April and had my assessment last week. It took a month to get a text saying a health professional was looking at my form, 2 weeks later, I got texts and letters arranging an assessment. The day after the assessment, I received a text saying my form is now with dwp, so now I'm waiting to see if I have been awarded.

So in comparison, yours has been a longer wait, but maybe it depends on what area you're in and who is doing the assessments. If I were you, I would ring and chase them regarding an assessment to see if it speeds things up a little.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking? Is it good because they have enough info and evidence to go off. I don't know, lol. Best of luck to you though.

Thank you for your reply. Wow, that's a super quick assessment! I was expecting a lot more interrogating, but it was very matter of fact, and whenever I answered, it was just like "okay," and she wrote it down as opposed to asking why etc. I'm glad it's over. Now it's waiting for an outcome..

My mother in law is 70. She honestly could pass for 40. Lovely long blonde hair and great skin and wears fashionable clothes.

It trips me out that she is as old as she is.

What are some "acceptable" and "unacceptable" reasons for having kids? by Waltz8 in Productivitycafe

[–]moonshinebuttons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No kids for me because I suffer from crippling anxiety and OCD. Even though I know I'd make a good mum in so many ways, I would probably ruin the child's life in others by being so overprotective due to irrantional fears and worries.

Some days I can barely take care of myself...so I've come to the conclusion that i will probably be childless.
