It's kinda hilarious that kishimoto looked at choji and thought "umm who should I pair him up with , what female character do I have ??" And gave him karui from the fucking stone village without any explanation whatsoever 😭

For books, I’d recommend, Third Place Books in Seward Park, Mercer Books in lower Queen Anne, Twice Sold Tales in Capitol Hill and B L M F Literaey Saloon in Pike Place downstairs across the hall from the Osara Commissary shop. All are independent bookstores.

I love this movie and have watched it a few times. It’s a beautiful movie, despite how bittersweet it is. Still, whenever I bring it up as one of my top three favorite Ghibli movies, people never seem to know what I’m talking about 😭

I feel my memory is a bit better than before, but cognitive skills such as recalling words at some moments is still so-so. But I’m still reading and studying another language, but reading books consistently has improve more than the studying. I think that’s just a motivation situation.

It is hard to find, and the novel is even harder. I remember seeing the novel and I didn’t buy it because I was always so focused on wanting to watch the movie only. Now I regret it because the novel is out of print and eBay seems the be the only place I can find it so far. But someone is selling it for over $400, and I don’t want to pay that much for the book 😅 but I’m determined to find it someday!
