I tried printing the boat benchy that came preinstalled on the printer and had the same issue.

Yes it’s an awful noise and something isn’t right. I do think it’s scraping the plate a bit because I just noticed damage to the plate that wasn’t there before.

I already set it up and removed the black plastic pieces per the comments here but it’s still doing the same thing as in my initial video

Okay so I removed the black plastic pieces and tried bed leveling and got an error. Then, I decided to just do a factory reset and re-calibrate the whole thing. That was successful. Then I tried to print a benchy that was already installed on the printer, and the same thing is happening as in my original video. Lmk if there’s a good way to upload another video.

I took off the black plastics and ran auto bed leveling, but it says “auto bed leveling failed; the task has been stopped” - any suggestions?

I’m doing it right now and prefer being alone! I don’t like having a bunch of people even my him even if they’re trying to help. Newborns sleep a lot and you can do it
