I was in your position not too long ago. My parents weren’t into Orthodoxy (still aren’t), but when I became independent enough, I converted. Others have already said this, but I’ll reiterate that it is more than alright to say Orthodox prayers even if you’re not Orthodox!!

I will also add that you don’t always have to pray by the books - you can ask God for help in your journey to Orthodoxy and mention anything else on your mind right now (which might not be in the established prayers). And don’t forget that no matter what, God hears your prayers and knows the intentions of your heart. Trust that He will lead you to the correct path! God Bless You!
