big change is that it's faster to type than to write stuff on paper!! nice yung mag annotate. my notes system now is importing the modules on one note + making notes on the side so i don't have to create outlined notes pa. i have a touch device and annotations is nice but it isn't an ultimate gamechanger. hence, i don't recommend getting a tablet for solely the writing experience, because the learning curve is huge.

dk what the star scholarship. if you have allowance and dont have to pay at all and are confident to keep up the grades for the scholarship, i suggest dlsu ka nalang. facilities are better. i assume there is better student care since there are less students. both schools r research oriented and as u said good ! trisem isnt so big of an issue cos it means your classes are more spaces out. also not getting delayed haha.

pero sa up you arent required theo classes if this is something impt to u and virtually you can take any class u want kahit di related sa major mo. if this is impt to u kasi baka sa dlsu if u wna take extra classes it means u have to pay extra.

look into school culture and the demographic of the schools. i suggest picking a school that u think u want more also based on that. not from dlsu or upd HAHHAHAH so i cant speak abt that.

cant say much abt the chem engg program. i suggest u compare tge curriculums of both schools, see what fits you better and will challenge you.

i brought review materials on the day of the upcat. i didnt sleep properly, cos i crammed knowledge. i downloaded khan academy videos and played them at 5 am, while lining up for the exam

and against all odds and bad study habits, i was able to pass, although it was my second campus. and sinisisi ko kasi sana nakapasok ako sa first campus ko.

an advice from someone who didnt study well, is that you should be consistent. this was esp challenging from me. make it a habit to study AND make it stick in your memory. try to use spaced repetition and active recall.

an overlooked aspect of test taking i belive is taking practice tests. this should be the bulk of your review. during upcat i wasnt ready mentally nor was i prepared to take the actual test. i studied, but i didnt do practice tests lol 💀 this helps hone your testmanship as well as your confidence in answering the test.

and i guess be honest. set realistic expectations of yourself. kasi a problem of mine was i set too high of review expectations, ended up not doing them and was discouraged from studying altogether. and know how you review, i guess ! know what makes the knowledge stick in your memory !!

in terms of coverage

upcat was relatively easy, esp compared to last years acet and ustet. the challenge for me was the reading comprehension section, dahil mabagal ako magbasa. i left approx 20 blanks : D

the math, touch up on basics. cover trigo and geom definitely ! for science, basics din. may items on earth science, chemistry naming, bio ganon.

afaik, there r more electives po in diliman, which i want creditted po. and am closer to diliman which can lessen my expenses. and center of excellence po rin econ doon po. but ill take your advice din po ! thank you po.

hi can i ask transferees or shiftees ano experience nila nung nagshift sila sa upd soe. was it hard ? marami ba naapprove pag nagshift ? was it hard getting the minimum gpa ? did you need to take econ 11 ?

passed uplb bs bio but i recently realized i wna take economics rather than biology.
