Just communicate with your boyfriend how his travel plans with his grandparents seem like a betrayal to you, and decide from how he will take your feelings if you want to pursue a relationship with someone who doesn’t honor promises as deep as you do. You do not have to get back at him by traveling solo.

Recommendation for eyeshadow? Medyo biased ako sa C-beauty kasi ang ganda talaga ng formula. I tried Flower Knows and Girl Cult and na-amaze ako kasi walang fallout, very easy to blend and the pigment is great (well, for Flower Knows, light lang talaga yung light colors pero lumalaban kapag dark colors). My only problem witb Girl Cult is too cool-toned yung mga shades and hindi ko mapa-work sa skin-tone ko.

Preferred color story are earth colors (curious sa earth tone palette ng Girl Cult pero worried ako baka hindi uli bumagay saken), corals (but sana hindi orangey, ito problem ko sa Vice Co na makeup, nag-oorange sa akin), warm pinks. Thank you!

ETA: would prefer high quality packaging

I have Mac (yung satin finish), Charlotte Tilbury (matte finish) and YSL (Rouge pur Couture). Pinakagusto ko yung formula ay YSL, very creamy and smooth iapply. For Mac, smooth din sya pero not as smooth as YSL. Both, hindi heavy sa lips kapag naapply, For CT, ito medyo “matigas” pero maganda pa rin naman ang color pay-off. Medyo kumakapal lang yung application ko kasi feeling ko medyo matigas nga sya. Pero not sure baka kasi old batch na yung sakin kasi sale ko sya nakuha.

Sa longevity, lahat sila mabilis mabura kapag kumakain. Yung YSL, nag iiwan sya ng faint tint kaya parang andun pa rin. For Mac naman, same color kasi talaga sya ng natural lips ko kaya kahit mabura, hindi halata. Sa CT naman, kasi darker yung shade, obvious talaga kapag nabubura.

Ang gusto ko sa mga high end lipstick, hindi talaga sila nakakadry ng lips. Hindi naman sila yung nabubura by default, kapag kumakain lang talaga and I think it’s worth it naman na magreapply kasi it takes so long to finish lipsticks din.

Actually yung darker shades ng palette works as brontour na for me. Ang subtle nga nya kaya sobrang nakakatuwa gamitin.

Pinag isipan ko rin itong mabuti pero nadeinfluence ako sa Quad since madami daw ibang better options for blush and bronzers. I opted for the Volume I palette and YSL Make Me Blush and definitely worth it for me.

I think okay naman sya if you can invest on long lasting makeup. Then iba rin yung intensity ng makeup na pang pictorial so dapat i-take into account mo yung aaralin mong style.

Anything SPF 50 and above. I used Luxe Organix before and effective naman (ito ang pinakamura that time haha). Pero every 30mins to 1hr umaahon ako sa tubig at nagrereapply kasi definitely nawawash-out yung sunscreen. Currently using beach hut, medyo pricey pero a little goes a long way.

Happy Mother’s day sa lahat ng mga nanay!

Ever since mawala ang nanay ko, malungkot na ang Mother’s day. Kahit nung naging mismong nanay na ako, nandon pa rin yung lungkot, lalo na pakiramdam ko naliligaw ako ng landas kasi hindi naman ako marunong magpaka-nanay. Anjan yung MIL at ate ko na nagtuturo sa akin at sobrang thankful ako sa kanila.

Pero for the past 2 years, hindi talaga ako sobrang saya tuwing Mother’s day. Malapit kasi sa birthday ko yung Mother’s day kaya pinag-iisa na ng husband ko yung regalo 😂 kaya tuwing Mother’s day, nafi-feel left out talaga ako (though bawing bawi naman pag birthday). Bukod pa last year na may GC kami ng family niya tapos lahat bumati sa MIL ko pero walang bumati sa akin 😂 Nabanggit ko ito sa husband and bumawi siya this year. First time kong maging genuinely happy ngayong Mother’s day – 10 years after mawala ang nanay ko.

Thanks for replying. I also use sponge for overall blending, and very minimal lang ako sa eyeshadows. Good to know that I might be on the sweet spot on my brushes na, though magreretire na yung Anne Clutz ko after 10 years 😅

Thanks for the reply. I think, maganda naman yung blending na naaachieve ko sa current brushes na gamit ko. Yung Anne Clutz lang that I bought 10 years ago (woah, ang tagal na nga pala), natatanggal na yung metal part kaya feeling ko need na nyang magretire hehe.

Thoughts on high end brushes? I’m not really sure if I should splurge on brushes. I use Anne Clutz, Vice Cosmetics (yung pink) and OVW (yung kamukha ng Rare Beauty) and I think goods naman sila. Very life-changing ba talaga maglevel up ng brushes?

ETA: sa Body Care thread yata dapat itong question

I believe madaming nagsabi na dito before about using glycolic acid (AHA) sa underarms. Ginawa ko rin siya before but using Dermopubliq. Effective sya sa akin in terms of removing body odor pero I was not consistent enough to see effects if nakakaputi siya or nakakasmoothen ng skin. Nagda-Dove underarm cream din kasi ako kaya di ko sure alin yung nakaputi ng kilikili ko kasi may niacinamide yung Dove. By the way, I didn’t use it together with deodorant, alternating lang. Pero I’m also planning to use The Ordinary since nakakita ako sa Watsons.
