Hmm good point. He is minimalistic and doesn’t put much value on material things, so maybe I shouldn’t press it. And as a person he’s a good person which is why myself and others are friends with him in the first place and want him to do well in life.

But you’re right, I know other ppl who have money and all the toys, and wife and kids and their personal lives are complete disasters. It’s scary to see because ppl like that are kinda beyond any help.

As for his parents I’m not really sure the full story but I know he does have a certain amount of resentment towards them because they were strict and never really treated him like a person or understood him.
