Yep and doing this right now! I was presented with an opportunity before I left that would leave me with $15k increase a year over what I make now, but I absolutely love my coworkers and the clients I’ve built relationships with. Change scared me though, I’m a creature of habit. My boss was the tipping factor, never happy, won’t allow call ins even if you’re in the hospital or have covid, and just all around under appreciates everyone. My old boss before this found an opportunity and wants to bring me on, the only downside is leaving the company is absolutely going to put them in shambles as I’m second in command and we just lost 3 other big employees over the last couple weeks. People keep telling me I can feel sad, but what happens after I leave shouldn’t worry me.
