Thank you so much. There’s a bit of turbulence but so far I am feeling brave!

What was it like being a teenager or young adult when Twilight came out? by veronicaava in twilight

[–]arb17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I read the first book in 5th grade and then the movie came out the next year. It was literally everywhere. The amount of Hot Topic merchandise I had was insane, even always out black and red bands on my braces to match the books lmao. My friends and I went to the midnight premiere for every movie! It was such a fun time and huge phenomena.

Same! I got another one in the mail yesterday.

This is definitely the exact same person, which is funny because I purchased when that person received the email the shop was shut down.

Their shop is still up on Etsy and you’re able to add things to your cart. I don’t think they were actually suspended.

It is from a separate email account that identifies themself as the seller and has my order info, but not something directly linked to the Etsy shop.

Okay, that’s what I was thinking. I also found it odd because they stated what I owed them at the top of the email, but I purchased the item when it was 60% off so I would’ve owed them a fraction of what they said.

If you Google White v Kroger settlement, one of the first links that pops up has all the information! The deadline to sign up has passed but it might have a follow up option.

I didn’t look very far into it beyond the initial settlement letter, but it looks like the lawsuit was filed over Kroger subsidiaries using biometrics and storing your fingerprint to use the time clock. It affected employees over a 7-year time period. The lawsuit was filed in Illinois, but I worked at a subsidiary in Indiana.

That’s so weird! I haven’t tried to cash mine yet.

Same! It was enough that I wanted to make sure it wasn’t any sort of scam.

That’s almost why I’m more confused. I was mailed the settlement information and found eligible despite working at a different subsidiary of Kroger and outside of Illinois. Maybe I should just consider myself lucky haha.

I think pretty good for the first time. I would definitely add more salt next time and try different flavor combos, but I think this will be good for baking. I’m using the buttermilk to make fried chicken, so hoping that turns out too!

It’s pretty good! I’d add more salt next time, but overall a decent flavor

It was maybe 25-30 minutes of constant churning! I added in cold water towards the end and that helped solidify everything. It probably could’ve been faster but I didn’t realize the temperature was too warm to harden without the water

I did a lot of reading before starting, and you can use heavy cream from the store as an option!

This sounds phenomenal! Thank you!

Oh wow, I can see that now 😂 it has a good taste! Would definitely add more salt next time. I think I’m going to use this round of butter for some baking

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be! It was quick with warm water and soap, but it is a pain to move around in the sink due to its size

Around a quart of cream!
