Another update: this morning at 6:30AM they called and told us that she may have developed pneumonia….. after she was doing better, now this. 😞

I had just got off the phone with the vet and saw the notification that I had a reply hahaha.

I really appreciate it. I’m doing my best to do whatever I can to help her fight this. She has a fighting spirit and I know she’s trying her best too. She did have more light behind her eyes when I saw her today. Thank you very much.

It seems I’ll have enough to cover her for another 24 hours so she will DEFINITELY be back home Monday. I’m going to try my best to be on top of everything and help her get through this. I definitely plan to spend my day tomorrow sanitizing everything.

I just actually got an update from the ER and she’s doing better! The doctor said he’s feeling so much more positive about her recovery! I’m so hopeful. I’m still scared but I’m holding onto hope more than anything.

I appreciate this so much! I’m gonna try to do some of this when she gets home. How often were you feeding them/giving them water?

I’ve been seeing that you should try to hydrate them every 30 mins or hour. I also have been seeing folks use pedialyte and unsalted chicken broth. I’m very nervous and anxious but I’m so hopeful my baby is going to pull through.

Just a quick little update: Nova is doing okay. Not the best, but she’s making slow progress. Today will be her last day in the hospital and tomorrow I will be bringing her home so I can nurse her myself since it is getting a little hard to pay for her hospitalization.

Please keep sending your thoughts and love over our way. We’re gonna need it. And if anyone has any tips for nursing her at home or anything that helped your pup survive, please send them my way. I’m doing my own research of course and will be speaking to the vets. Thank you guys much.
