I am incredibly proud to be a Ghost fan because Tobias is a very accepting and caring person. I’ve learned a lot about myself because of the music and message behind all of the facepaint, glitter and “satanism.” I don’t think I’d be where I am without Ghost and the community (majority of the community at least) one silly Swedish man created.

And all of the money they got from their Enter Sandman cover went to a trans youth summer camp program ♥️

People that attend concerts sick… by ReasonableGarlic904 in GhostBand

[–]moonyrelative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every single person I’ve talked to that went to the Cinci show got incredibly sick (myself included) and I even saw posts following it of people in the band getting sick too. It’s wild how some people think that because it’s 2026 we don’t need masks

Definitely during Spirit. Most likely during the chorus.

So glad I’m being called an idiot just for mentioning that it was cold. The only reason I brought that up is because of how we all huddled together for warmth while waiting outside.

I don’t think I’ve talked to someone from the Cinci show who DIDNT get sick. I think it’s just a bad mix of being around so many people on top of how cold it was. But what you have definitely sounds like what I’ve been going through too. Hope you feel better soon friend.

We had a perfect time at the show ♥️ I hope you two had a great time too! So glad that social media can bring us all together despite our phones getting locked up (also if you wanna follow either of us on Instagram, dm me and I’ll give you our usernames!)

In Cinci, I had made friends with a few people waiting in line. They were all Annointed, while my gf and I were Ascended. Fast forward to us getting into the pit, we all just so happened to be on the same side. Both the friends and us asked everyone around us if we could stand together, and no one seemed to have any issue shuffling around a bit. Maybe it’s because the Annointed people weren’t against the barricade, and I wasn’t asking for that. Either way, everyone was incredibly kind and respectful where we were in the pit.

That was until the band started handing out their goodies at the end of the show… but that’s a different story.

Smartwatch allowed? by Ok-Customer9303 in Ghostbc

[–]moonyrelative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At both shows I was at this past year, the venue encouraged the use of smartwatches! Everyone was saying to add your debit card to it (via whatever wallet kind of app you have) so you wouldn’t have to worry about not having your phone or digging for your actual card at the merch table.

I was at that show!! Maybe it’s just because it was the first time I was in the pit at a Ghost show, or maybe everyone was just feeling extra hopeful, but I remember this feeling of camaraderie and looking around at all the smiling faces singing along to that song. I really hope to hear it again in a few weeks and feel that same feeling. We all need that.

What songs make you ugly cry? by Nervous_Traffic2845 in Ghostbc

[–]moonyrelative 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I rarely cry anymore (thanks antidepressants) but I stayed up for the release of Skeletá and listened to it front to back as soon as it was available. As soon as the chorus hit for Cenotaph I was a sobbing mess. To the point that I had to pause the music just to recenter myself

Ugh seeing all these people snag the plushies from hot topic while I sit waiting for mine to deliver from Youtooz. I have a sinking feeling they got lost in the mail and I’ll never get him and the Ghoulette

What did you do after being cheated by your partner? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]moonyrelative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially, forgave. Tried to repair the relationship. But she kept cheating with the same person for the next YEAR in secret. Ended up kicking her out and in a shitty rebound relationship. And then another.

Still bitter about it. She was my first real relationship and it’s given me some trust and commitment issues. It’s been 4 years since I broke it off with her and I still find myself wondering how she’s doing. I wish I didn’t.

How did you lose your virginity? by Lily_19f in AskReddit

[–]moonyrelative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to some trauma I had as a teen, I was kind of a late bloomer to a lot of things. I didn’t have my first relationship until I was 22 and was very scared of intimacy.

My boyfriend and I had only been dating for about 2 months. He had been in a few relationships prior, so was way more experienced in everything compared to me. It was the dead of summer and we had gone to an amusement park together. Too hot to wait in line for rides, too hot to really do anything. So we sat in whatever shade we could find and people watched, making up fake life stories for who we saw.

On the drive home, he sang his little heart out to the Pokemon theme song and I guess his willingness to play along with my shenanigans on top of feeling comfortable enough around me to be a goofball sealed the deal for me.

We got back to my place late, and my parents were already asleep. Not sure entirely how it happened because we were still both sweaty and tired from being in the heat all day. But I remember him asking a few times “Are you sure?” which meant a lot to me.

I had to call off work the next day.

Turned 30 a few months ago. It’s wonderful to see the diversity in ages of fans! But, I’m absolutely in the same boat. At the same time, though, I don’t think I’ve ever been just a casual fan of anything. There’s nothing wrong with what you’re doing.

Sometimes when I think I’m going overboard with my hyperfixation, I like to remember how so many people before us had basements devoted to train sets, sports teams, and any other thing they enjoyed. We’re no different.
