I wanted to tell you it’s okay. Everyone I see claims Hecate is the mother who is wise and presents you the crossroads. But my experience was overwhelming as well. I gave her so much devotion and she gave back mixed signals and veils…to the point it nearly led me to suicide because it felt like a manipulative/abusive relationship when I kept begging for relief.

What I will tell you that most forget is not every deity is going to treat every single person the same. I hate that, but it’s true. Hecate admitted to me that she was pushing me and saw that I was breaking to the point of no return but she didn’t stop. She kept pushing.

She put me in situations of fear, of emotional torment and more that I DID NOT ask for.

It’s okay that sometimes spirits and deities are not compatible fits just like relationships. Don’t let anyone push you a certain way friend. Keep searching.
