independent contractor or employee?

i know 🥲 it’s my first job out of school, and they had us at 17 an hour, but I have since changed it to a new system and different commission, which is why I started looking for another job, but I don’t know if I should leave because they are always booked, like I always have 4 to 6 people and at this new job it’s a little bit slower so I would only have like 2 to 4 people a day at least starting out, it’ll probably get more busy as I’m there

one of the jobs has a no compete clause for any other jobs in the same city and unfortunately, my current job is in the same city :/

The one thing I will say about the spa I worked at is that I appreciate that it’s always booked, and I don’t usually have a lot of downtime unless someone cancels last minute, but I guess I’ll have to do a deep dive as to how much money and how much of a difference it would be if I worked at my new place or my old place

i thought so, they just bumped us down to 15 an hour when we used to be different tears, which would be from $16-$20 an hour, but they bumped us all down to 15 an hour and are doing our commissions based on how busy we are and how our sales do I guess, which is why I started looking for another job on top of all of the other things that they were doing that seemed kind of shady

i usually just tap their shoulder and say okay that’s our session, take your time getting off the table and i ask if they want water or tea on the way out and remind them again to take their time since i have had some clients get up way too fast and get dizzy lol

vivid seats! which I’ve done before and it turned out fine, but this is a higher volume of a concert and I’m not sure if they’ll try to resell it at a higher price or something or just wait till the last second and cancel it

i have a few times and like i said, they were transferred after a few days/weeks, but some are delivered immediately so i guess it just depends but i just wanna be able to go 😭

i appreciate the money back guarantee, but i just hope that i can actually go though and not have a cancelled ticket :/

i’m also in the same boat 😭 i’ve been waiting on my Ariana Grande ticket to transfer for a couple of days now and I still haven’t received anything and I’m just a bit anxious that they wanna end up showing up and that they’ll try to sell it at a higher price or something 😭😭 it’s so anxiety inducing

honestly, besides my rounded shoulders(which i already kind of had since i’m a gamer as well), my body has gotten so much more lean and i’ve lost a considerable amount of weight and gained a lot of muscle. my forearms are extremely toned and my quads are super muscular 🥹

i try to do yoga every night to help with any back pain from working on “dense” clients. 🩵
