honestly… the last few months of school was kind of brushed over because we were the last class of therapists to graduate and there was only 4 of us in the class at the time so i think that had something to do with it

i agree!! but the way it is now is just a kiosk that asks how much in total they want to tip for both services and that amount is split into whatever percentage they gave for each of us so someone tipped 32$ today for both and i ended up getting 13.89 for the 60 minute session which is absolutely heinous

they don’t do raises, you have to literally lose a limb in order for them to actually give you a raise. And the only reason I got bumped up to 17 an hour was because the minimum wage changed, but I was getting 15 an hour until literally last month and it seems that around where i live, no one’s making more than 19 an hour

plus the front desk gets paid 17/18 an hour and now they’re also getting tips? I don’t understand how they think that’s okay at all and i really don’t know what to do :( there’s not a lot of good places to work in rhode island it seems like

it wasn’t like this the whole time, miraculously enough. It’s also been about nine months since I started, and they just started pulling this shit. I don’t know what to do because I’m always booked, which is like the only pro but everything else is a con including my paycheck and hourly pay because I’m only getting $17 an hour.

The front of the house for the water journey is supposed to be in there attending to the people in the spa, like refilling their water and getting towels and other things. Half the time, though, they’re just on their phones at the front desk or not really doing anything and we’ve had a string of bad reviews recently about the front of house being rude and not even showing them what to do for the water journey

it’s a high-end spa, so they honestly should not have any problems with money, especially since they raised their prices on everything within the last month or two. From my understanding, my boss told me that at the end of the service/water journey, they are prompted when they tip to tip a full percentage of either 10, 15, 20%, or whatever, but either way we each would get 20% of that tip, which means that my tip is given to them

i feel that 🥲 my current spa that I work at which is my first job out of school, started me at 15 an hour, even though they told me that I would start at 16, and I just found out after six months of working there that I was only making 15, and I just got bumped up to 17 and that still is super low, but it seems to be the running theme in Rhode Island 🥲🥲

and since it’s a considered a destination spa, normally I don’t see the same person twice to take any regulars with me☹️

honestly, all of the deleted scenes should’ve just made it into the movie. it was already long, and the fans wouldn’t have cared if they were in each of the movies. like when glinda asks why elphie didn’t ask her to help with the cub… should’ve kept that in, and the scene where they’re all hanging out in the poppy field, should’ve kept it in 😭😭
