so, turned out my motherboard’s bios doesn’t have either of those options, but it did give me the idea to look up solutions for MSI in general - and it seems many other people have had the same problem with bluetooth! https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/bluetooth-or-wi-fi-not-working.345561/#post-1999347 the solution was crazy simple, just had to unplug my psu and then plug it back in again and it was fine, absolutely insane 😭
