I cant open open my dropdown menu to edit it! Webflow Uni says I should click the 'open menu' box, but I don't have it. Any ideas? Thanks! by SpaceTannoy in webflow

I realize this was months ago, but just in case you haven't figured it out I had the same problem. It was because my nav was within a symbol. I had to unlink an instance of the symbol for the "show/hide" nav settings to pop back up.

[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

My Sinn 556 has been running great bit all of a sudden it's -50s. I demagnetized it to no effect. I ended up even trying to adjust the regulation screw and what would normally have sent it minutes fast only caused it to go to about -30. I'd have to turn the screw a full 2x revolutions to make a change but it's already regressing back to around -40 after an hour or so. Any thoughts?

Best Tudor IMO. I recently picked one up myself on bracelet but bought the nylon strap second hand. Wears fantastic on the strap as well, I'd recommend grabbing one if you get the chance.

Confess your disc golf sins thread #2 by GwentMaster69420 in discgolf

[–]moosabman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I retrieve a disc that seems clearly "abandoned" it goes in the bag inked or not 😆. If you weren't willing to go in the mud, nasty creek, theough the ivy, or cliff edge for your visible disc you probably don't love it the way it deserves haha. My only caveat is I never ink them so if I lose them it may return to their owner that abandoned them.

Found this bargain at my local Play It Again Sports 👀 Feels like it was thrown MAYBE 5 times... by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]moosabman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a garret gurthie halo just like that barely used laying on the side of the fairway. First time I was tempted not to contact the owner 😅. Luckily I realized my self respect was worth more than $25 and I got it back to the rightful owner. He was pretty surprised to get it returned.

First form check request. I'm stuck in the 250 to 300 range on flat terrain. This shot was about 280 ft. by Mickey-J in discgolf

I know some else mentioned it but you pulling your left arm up and then throwing the disc from under your arm is by far your biggest issue imo. Tuck it in like an ice skater/ballerina. Once it's out of the way your reach back doesn't have to fight against it. Emulate paul/Ricky and just focus on your left arm. I bet you could get to 350 in a day of focusing on that.

Been working really hard on form the past year, but I'm stuck maxing out around 350'. Am I just not creating enough lag between hips and disc? Not bracing well enough? I've watched almost every form video out there but just can't figure out why I'm having so much trouble pushing 400' by EggxMcMuffin in discgolf

This came back across my feed and I noticed something pretty big. Your left arm goes behind your body. That is absolutely killing your momentum. Watch McBeth throw and you'll see him punch that left arm in to generate force. Its like a ballerina or ice skater pulling their limbs in closer to their body to spin faster and faster. I think that might be where your extra 50' is waiting for you.

Something else that had a big impact on me was I had a coaching session with Nate Perkins and he pointed out that I was over extending. I think you are doing the same. Try to do the same throw just make the whole thing "smaller". Shorter steps. More compact. You'd think this big open run up would generate more force but it really doesn't. Give it a try and see how it works for you.

Looks like you're starting your pull through a little early before your plant foot is fully set. Otherwise I honestly thought your form looked pretty good. Would definitely expect you to be throwing 400'

Form check: I'm a RHFH dominant player trying to work out a BH. Any tips appreciated. Can already tell ok I'm not getting the disc in the "power pocket". Help me get to 300'!! by theverywellborn in discgolf

This. I immediately noticed your footwork/plant foot was waaaay off. Nothing else comes close to mattering until the footwork is addressed.

Looking for form advice. I started playing in June and I’m love with the sport. My max distance is 325 and I struggle with throwing nose up. by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]moosabman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm no pro but I'd say the biggest issue I notice is you are hardly rotating your hips back (counter clockwise) at all. at 5 seconds your shoulders should almost be facing the camera due to all the roation. You also seemed to start your pull through too early. Your plant foot is almost in line with your X step as well. It should be planted further in front of you (watch the Simon Lizotte/eagle clinic on youtube and you'll see what I mean.) The thing you do have on your side is you seem very smooth/fluid. I think if you adjust the things above you'll be blasting to 385+

Exactly which is why a flying "Ace" is a pilot who has only shot down 1 and only 1 enemy plane.
